The new DEVIL has a single row of 700 mm diameter DD rings,the largest available , fitted into the main section of the press frame and run on a split axle .
This allows a speed differential between the rings for easier steering correction in work.Depending upon user choice, the front section of the press is fitted with a rigid tines.Proven over all soil types, DD rings have a wide shoulder to bobth cultivate and consolidate the seedbed.
The ring's overall profile also provides a degree of flotation to maintain a consistent depht control.This is particular benefit on light soils where traditionnal presses can bulldoze and increase draft.DD rings are also well suited to soils with a high moisture content, the shape of the rings preventing soil from getting plucked up at the rear of the press in loose or wet conditions.
The DEVIL press frame has been redisigned so the whole unit can be positioned close to th tractor .This helps to reduce the imposed load on the front axle of the tractor, and is of particular benefit at high transport speeds.
